If your view of your baking food is hampered by a baked-on grime filled oven window, clear it with a dishwasher tablet. It MUST be the hard type not a gel. Dip the tablet in warm water then apply like a pumice stone to buff the window. The abrasive texture and detergent will lift off baked-on grease and grime leaving no residue. Wipe off with a damp cloth.
