Tip of the Day: Mayonnaise Silences Squeaky Hinges
If that squeaky door drives you crazy every time it opens and closes, rub a small amount of mayonnaise over the hinge. Now, open and close the door a few times to let it work its way into the metal. Wipe off any excess. The oil in the spread will lubricate the hinges. Bonus, you can use expired mayo for this too!
