Tip of the Day: Silence Squeaky Floors with Talcum Powder

Whether you’re trying to be quiet or not squeaky floors are annoying. To stop the creaking that’s caused when the floorboards rub against each other, sprinkle some talcum powder in the noisy areas. Now, use a cloth to rub the powder into the crevices between the floorboards. The fine powder will muffle any noise.
