Tip of the Day: Longer Lasting Cut Garden Flowers
When you cut your garden flowers you expect them to last longer than a day or two. If you have room in your refrigerator, you can have them around for a week or more! Each night, snip the stems, then arrange in a vase, then keep in the refrigerator over night. The cool temperature will preserve the moisture in the petals keeping them pretty longer. Think of florists’ refrigerated cases!
