Tip of the Day: Garlic & Onions Last Longer in a Paper Bag

To prolong the life of onions, garlic, shallots, etc punch some holes in a brown paper bags and fill half-way (use a separate one for each veggie) with these bulbs. Clip closed with a chip clip. Label each bag if you have several. The holes will prevent rotting and spouting so they should last longer.
