Our ceiling fans are dust magnets. All of a sudden you look up and see dust covering the paddles! To rid this easily, spray the inside of an old pillow case (or buy one at the Dollar Store for this purpose) with a mixture of 1 cup of water, 1/4 cup white vinegar, and 2 teaspoons of olive oil. Pull the case over each individual fan blade one at a time. The vinegar lifts off the dirt and grime while the olive oil leaves a dust-repelling seal. All the dust will slide off inside the pillowcase and be trapped. Shake out and on to the next blade. When finished wash the pillowcase for the next time.
