Tip of the Day: Ouch! Razor Nick? Cornstarch to the Rescue!

If you accidently cut yourself with the razor while shaving you can quickly stop the bleeding by dusting some cornstarch over the area. Leave the white powder on for about 5 minutes then rinse off with water. The cornstarch is absorbent so it will cling to the nick thus soaking up moisture and promote clotting.
