Tip of the Day: Salt Brightens Faded Colors
If your once bright tees, jeans, and other apparel are dull and faded add 1/2 cup of table salt to your washing cycle. Salt locks in the fabric dye restoring the original color. Turn clothes inside out before washing to minimize friction with other clothing so as not to strip away the color.
