Tip of the Day: Borax Kills Kitchen Sink Bacteria
Most kitchen sinks harbor bacteria! UGH! This is because germs from moist dishes multiply in a moist area. An easy way to disinfect your kitchen sink is to sprinkle some Borax (get this in the detergent aisle of the supermarket) on the basin bottom then spray with white vinegar. Let sit for at least one hour (do at bedtime). Then rinse off with hot water. The Borax will lift the grime while the vinegar kills the bacteria.
