If you want a natural way to fertilize your plants and veggies use coffee grounds! They enrich the soil and compost with nutrients. You can start saving the grounds from your daily pot or you can go to a participating Starbucks to ask for a bag of their Grounds for Your Garden program. You will be given this at no cost. It is their way to reduce waste. If there is not a Starbucks near you, ask at another coffee shop. They may be able to help you.
