Since pasta water contains starch, which acts as natural detergent against stubborn food particles on your plates and glassware, any stuck-on food or sauce will slide off after letting them soak in this water for a few minutes. Simply reserve the water after you’ve boiled your pasta. Soak while having dessert, rinse, wash easily, and you are done!
