I’ll bet you’d be surprised to learn that our kitchen sinks harbor at least 45% bacteria. This can be MORE than a toilet bowl!! UGH! This happens because the germs from dirty dishes multiply in this moist space. You can easily rid this problem by disinfecting with a sprinkle of Borax into the bottom of the basin topped with a spray of white vinegar. (You can find Borax in your supermarket’s detergent aisle). Let this sit for about an hour then rinse off with hot water. The Borax will have lifted the grime while the vinegar disinfected.
