Sometimes when you need an ice pack there are none to be found in your freezer! You can easy make one to have on hand for these occasions. Simply cut a sponge in half  (or use 2 smaller sponges) then soak them in a solution of 50% rubbing alcohol and 50% water. Place this in a re-sealable freezer bag; then place in the freezer. The alcohol can’t freeze solid so the sponge will stay flexible so you can easily move them around your injured areas.
