The holidays are over and you notice your carpet or sofa have a few wine stains. You can remove these by wetting the areas and sprinkling a generous amount of table salt of them. Tap in the salt and let sit for awhile. After a few hours scrape off the salt. Now vacuum up the salt and blot the stained areas with a mixture of half white vinegar and half water. The stain should be just a memory!
