In a pinch, you can revive dry, worn-out windshield wipers so you have a little extra time before you replace them. Dab a little bit of Vaseline along the rubber edge of the wiper (use sparingly so you don’t have a smear on the glass). Allow to air dry for at least 10 minutes in the up position. Now lower the wipers. The petroleum jelly will have moistened the hard, dried out rubber and they should glide across your window with ease.
