If your wooden cutting board looks dry and dingy the fix is coconut oil. Wash it as usual, then with a clean cloth rub a dollop of coconut oil into the wood along the grain. The oil will waterproof the wood because it seeps into all the crevices thus prevent cracking and splitting. The anti-bacterial properties in the oil will keep your board sanitary. Repeat every few weeks as needed.
