The buildup of mineral deposits on your iron’s sole plate can cramp your ironing style. When this happens, be sure your iron is unplugged and cool, rub toothpaste (NOT gel) over the plate’s surface with a cloth. Rinse off with a damp cloth, then dry. The toothpaste scrubs away the mineral deposits so it will be smooth sailing.
