You bought a nice straw hat to protect you from the sun, however it is so big that it will fly off your head in a breeze or worse, block your vision! Since it is probably not adjustable try this: place a self-stick shoe heel cushion inside the front and back of the hat underneath the sweatband. This should tighten things up so you can enjoy the sun.
