Tip of the Day: Picture Hanging 101

If you are looking for the stud on the wall to hang your picture (usually 16″ to 18″ apart) try turning on an electric razor! Move the razor horizontally against the wall. When the buzz gets quieter you are over a stud. When it gets loud again, you have passed it. Try to place the nail in the middle of the stud.
