If you have a small cut, a nick, or a scratch but no band-aid, dab a little lip balm on the area. The smooth, waxy base will form a seal on the skin to stop the bleeding. If your balm contains menthol or camphor that’s even better! It will make the pain lessen. If you have Carmex, your in luck! That’s the best because it contains phenol which can kill germs and rid skin of surface bacteria that can cause infection.
