If you are serving guests soup you know how messy it can get with a tureen and a ladle. Next time, pour the soup into a pitcher (a hot/cold carafe works really well and keeps the soup warm between servings). Another smart move is to use large tea cups instead of bowls. The handles allow for easy transport if you are having a buffet.
