It’s that time of year to pack picnic lunches or take road trips. If your thermos smells funky from the last time it was used, don’t fret. Leave it over night filled with a mixture of hot water and about a teaspoon of baking soda inside. In the morning rinse out. Your ready to go! Next time, after you’ve cleaned it, add a few whole cloves inside the thermos before closing it up. (Be sure to remember to remove them before you fill up again!)
