Tip of the Day: Remove Corn on the Cob Silks with a Coffee Filter
Backyard BBQs and picnics are right around the corner! Nothing makes these festive gatherings more complete than corn on the cob! The only drawback is the silks left behind after the husks are shucked. To remove these so your guests won’t have unwanted dental floss, simply dampen a coffee filter and rub over each ear, moving in the opposite direction of the silk. The silky threads will get caught in the wet fibers of the filter and will easily pull off.
