Tip of the Day: Pillow Talk 101
How long have you had your pillow? If you can’t remember, it may be time to replace it. A quick, easy way to check is to fold your pillow in half. if it doesn’t bounce right back, it’s time for a new one. Your pillow absorbs body oils, sweat, and dead skin cells, ugh! Experts say 2 years is the longevity of a pillow. I know when you get that perfect one you want to keep it. You can wash yours in the washing machine with a mild detergent, then toss in the dryer on high heat for 20 minutes then switch to medium or low heat. Shake out the pillow every 20 minutes and don’t remove it until it’s completely dry.
