Tip of the Day: Get a Separate Wi-Fi Password for Guests
I’m sure it has happened to you as well, a guest asks for your Wi-Fi password. If this is a trusted family member or friend, no problem, BUT, if it is a random worker or casual acquaintance, you should set up a different password for these purposes. Why? You are giving this person access to your printer, smart thermostat and such, security cameras, and other similar devices!! To set up a new network, open your web browser and type in your IP address (you can find this on your router). Create a guest network name with a unique password. Keep this handy in case a friendly stranger asks for your Wi-Fi password.
