Tip of the Day: Zapped By Carpet Static Electricity?

Ugh! That spark that zaps us every time we walk on a carpet! End this by filling a spray bottle with 1/4 cup of liquid fabric softener (Downy, etc) and 1 pint of water. Lightly spritz your carpet with this mixture. The lubricant that is positively charged bonds with the carpet that is negatively charged to nix the static-causing friction.
