On your next painting project, instead of scraping the brush on the side of the can to remove excess paint, because this will lead to drips down the can and further, get a large rubber band! Stretch the band vertically over the can and swipe the side of the brush against it. This will ensure any excess paint will fall right back into the can. No messy drips!
