Tip of the Day: No More Soggy Pie Crusts
If you like a delicious pie, but not so much the soggy bottom crust, here’s a fix: sprinkle a thin layer (about 3 tablespoons) of breadcrumbs, graham cracker crumbs, or cookie crumbs in the pie shell before filling and baking. The crumbs will absorb the extra liquid in the fruit filling to give you a crispier crust!
