Tip of the Day: Another Hack To Keep Cast-Iron from Rusting
Throughout the years I’ve given you tips on keeping cast-iron cookware from rusting. Here’s another: wipe clean after use then place a new, flattened coffee filter on the inside surface. Then, store in a cool dry place with the lid off. The filter will absorb any rust causing moisture so your skillet will be in great shape for the next meal.
