Tip of the Day: Coffee Filters Take the Mess Out of Re-Potting Plants

It’s that time of the year to tend to gardens! If you have plants that need re-potting but you hate the spillage and mess that happens due to the drainage holes in the bottom of the new planter, simply place a coffee filter in first before you add any soil. This will block any exiting. For small pots, use a paper towel cut to size. These porous papers will allow drainage while keeping all the dirt inside.
