If some of your garden pride is because of your rose bushes you can make the flowers fuller and more beautiful by snipping outward. Most gardeners know to remove the deadheads on the bush to encourage the flowers to grow, but a boost to this method is if you cut at a 45° angle towards the center of the bush about 1/4″ above the first leaf that has 5 leaflets facing outward. This results in a fuller, bigger rose bush.
