Tip of the Day: Rough Elbows?
Since we are all doing our share of home-spas and grooming ( I cut my husband’s hair last week!) here’s a quick fix to rid flaky and stubbornly rough elbows: slice a grapefruit in half, then rest an elbow in each one for 2 minutes. Now rub a drop of olive oil on your elbows. The citric acid in the grapefruit acts as an exfoliant to gently slough off dead skin cells while the olive oil’s vitamin E restores your skin’s natural lipid balance and will prevent future moisture loss.
