If you are like me, I fill my tea cup to the brim! That can lead to unwanted spills! If your tea, iced or hot, splashes on your carpet you can lift the stain by pouring just enough beer on it to wet the area. Now, blot with a soft cloth and cool water until the spot disappears. The carbonic acid in the beer loosens the tea’s tannins so they can be lifted from the fibers. (Always spot test in a small inconspicuous area first for color-fastness).
