We are all health and germ conscious, more so these days! So, lets not forget about pesticides on our fresh fruits and vegetables. A easy way to keep yours safe is to fill your kitchen sink or a tub with cool water and 2 teaspoons of baking soda. Soak for about 15 minutes. This should remove 80%-95% of any pesticides, that’s even more than the store-bought products that contain bleach.
