If planting shrubs is on your to-do Spring list you can get more bang for your buck if you simply stick a cutting from shrubs like boxwood, holly, rhododendron, and yew directly into the ground between two of your newly purchased shrubs. Water regularly and within six weeks they should root. You’ll have twice as many as you purchased!
