As I write this our lives, as we know them, have changed due to the Corona Virus. On the first of each month, I post a blog telling you what specials to be on the look out throughout the month. This month I can tell you what you could’ve expected under normal circumstances. These are definitely NOT normal circumstances. Shopping in stores, other than grocery, is just about at a stand still. The bright spot is online ordering! Most site are delivering with a slight delay. Below you will find what is normally  on sale in April. You can probably find these items on your favorite sites. Let’s hope by next month we can get back to our routines and that includes shopping!

April is usually a rainy month (April Showers) so if you need rain gear such as umbrellas and raincoats you should find savings of up to 30% off.

April is National Car Care Month. You’ll find deals on tires, oil changes, and some FREE educational events. Go to CarCare.org to find all types of useful information.

(I doubt these will happen, but let’s be optimistic!) Earth Day is 4-22-20. Keep a look out for activities and FREE offers from stores in your area that will teach conservation and environmental protection.

After Easter and Passover, be sure to hit grocery stores and Walmart and Target to find left over chocolate and sweet goodies as well as decor and supplies for up to half off. Passover specialty foods will be discounted after the holiday too. There will probably be lots of things leftover because most of us won’t be able to celebrate. It will be interesting to see the store’s reaction to these items. Maybe they will pull them and save for next year or else reduce prices. Only time will tell.

Athletic footwear is STILL on sale online, so shop around to get a deal that you can find useful for your future activities.

Spring is usually the month we think about sprucing up our homes. Paint, closet organizers, and other honey-do items can be found at savings on the online Home stores.

This is normally a time for bake sales and festivities that require cake and pie. We know that’s not going to happen! But maybe your favorite store will have cake mixes, frosting, as well as pie crusts on sale. As I said, it’s anyone’s guess.
