#ad March usually means the end of Winter and the beginning of Spring! This month you can save BIG on Winter coats, boots, gloves, and hats. Look for leftovers that can be saved for next year or used throughout the month. If you like outdoor sports, skis, snowboards, sleds, and other Winter toys, these will be marked down.

Luggage will be reduced as our dreams turn into reality with Spring and Summer travel.

March is Frozen Food Month. It’s a great time to stock your freezer with frozen meals, vegetables, ice cream, breakfast foods, and more. Start looking for coupons in the Sunday newspapers for extra savings and/or check Coupons.com often to see what easy-to-prepare frozen foods have been added. Stock up on your favorite brands if you have freezer-room. You’ll be happy you did when the prices go up.

If you are doing your own taxes, tax software will be on sale to help you out. Check Staples and Amazon for the best deals.

In addition to March Madness, sports fans can get deals on golf clubs and sets as new equipment inventory is starting to hit the shelves. For those stay-at-home fans, related video games will be cheaper!

As we near St. Patrick’s Day (3-17), Corned beef, cabbage, and potatoes will be specially priced at supermarkets and grocery stores. If this is a meal you fancy more than once a year, buy several packages of corned beef to freeze for the next time you are in the mood.

Look for leftover garden tool inventory. What is available may be discounted.

Start watching for the Spring flowers!
