Tip of the Day: Keep Cut Apple from Browning
We’re starting a new healthy year! This includes bringing an apple to lunch instead of cheesecake! You’ll want to slice yours at home so as not to travel with a knife or the mess. When you cut your apple up, re-assemble it and secure with a rubber band. This prevents oxidation that causes browning when the fruit’s flesh is exposed to the air. Now you and your kids can enjoy a fresh, non-brown apple on the go.
