As always, January means fitness equipment and gym memberships will lower now, especially because, many of us are anxious to get back into shape due to the over-indulgence during the holidays. So look for deals. There may be 2 for 1 deals too. It’s always more fun to sweat with a friend!

Sporting goods for those cold outdoor activities will start to go on sale as everyone’s thoughts turn to Spring. There is still plenty of cold weather ahead so you’ll most likely e able to use your purchase soon. The worst that can happen is you’ll be ready for next year!

National parks will have FREE admission on Martin Luther King’s Birthday 1-20-20.

Fashionable jewelry will be reduced up to 75% off because the glitz of the holidays is over. Look for bargains.

This is the perfect time to stock up on leftover Christmas cards, wrapping, bows, and paper goods for next year. Many will be reduced as much as 75% to make room for new Valentine’s Day stock. Remember, if you are lucky enough to find solid color goods, they can be used all year long.

In the supermarket use your coupons for sales on diet food, protein shakes, soda, frozen finger food, left over Christmas chocolate, and cold and flu medications.
