Whether you own a cat or not, invest in a bag (it can be a cheap one) of kitty litter. Its many include lining the bottom of indoor and outside trash cans with a layer of kitty litter before adding your trash bag. This not only absorbs liquids it’s baking soda will neutralize unpleasant odors. Replace once a month.
