If your dishwasher is smelling funky, save a trip to the store to buy a pricey dishwasher cleaner. Instead, fill a dishwasher-safe cup with 1 cup of lemon juice and place upright on the top rack of your dishwasher. Run the appliance set on steam dry. The citric acid in the lemon juice will dissolve odors, hard water spots, and any deposits.
