As we all shy away from harsh chemicals that can harm us and our home, here’s a way to remove soap scum using products you may already have in your home. Get a clean spray bottle or buy one at the Dollar Store. Fill it with a mixture of 1 cup baking soda (the scrub), 1/2 cup dish soap (the dirt remover), 1/3 borax (the grout whitener), 2 tablespoons of white vinegar ( the germ fighter), and 1 cup of warm water. Spray on shower walls and such letting sit at least 15 minutes before wiping off. For touch scum, forget the water, increase the white vinegar to 1/4 cupĀ  and heat it before adding to boost its cleaning power.
