Tip of the Day: Milk Soothes Sunburn

Let’s hope no one in your household gets sunburn. However, it happens no matter how careful we are. If it does, soak a washcloth in cold milk and place on the burn for 5 minutes. Repeat 3 times then rinse off. Milk’s chill constricts blood vessels to reduce redness, its fats decrease inflammation, and its lactic acids encourage cell turnover to reveal healthy skin fast.
