Tip of the Day: Keep Garden Hand Tools Rust-Free

If your favorite trowel or spade is getting rusty you can prevent this by filling a pail with sand and about 20 oz of mineral oil. Store your hand tools in this pail, handle side up, so the abrasive sand will keep them clean as you pull them in and out and the mineral oil will ward off rust.
