Tip of the Day: Slugs Steer Clear of Eggshells

If you are plagued by slugs, those snails without shells, an easy way to get rid of them is to spread crushed eggshells in your garden area where they appear. About the size of a penny should do the trick. These ugly, crawling pests will steer clear because the sharp edges of the shells irritate their bellies.
