If you want to repel slugs and snails in your garden (they are out already as I’ve seen them slinking along) sprinkle the used coffee grounds from your coffee pot around your ornamental plants. Caffeine is toxic to these ugly pests so they will go out of their way to avoid it. A bonus, coffee grounds are rich in nutrients and act as a slow-releasing fertilizer!
