If you’ve replaced the batteries in your remote control or other item, but it still is not working, it may be the little inside spring has lost its tension. When this happens the batteries move around not making contact. To fix this, fold a small piece of aluminum foil into a square and place between the battery and the spring. This fills the gap and makes the battery line up correctly and it should connect now.
