If you’ve ever used a tube of caulking usually there is leftover. To keep this half-used caulk fresh and ready for your next use, simply drill or cut a small hole in a wine cork about an 1″ deep. Slide this over the caulking tube’s tip. This will create an airtight seal that will keep your caulk fresh and there will be no waste. Save the corks too when the caulk is used up so you’ll have them ready for the next tube you open.
