Tip of the Day: Use Every Last Drop of Honey
Honey is sticky. That means it is hard to get every last bit out of the jar. Well, you can if you pour a little bit of hot water into the jar, close the lid tightly, then shake gently. The residual sweetener that is stuck to the sides and bottom of the jar will dissolve in the water. This syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for weeks. You can add this to your tea, cocktails, or anything else you would normally use honey to sweeten and best of all, there’s no waste!
