Start saving those empty paper towel rolls now so that when you dismantle your Christmas tree you can use them to keep the lights from tangling. On each end of the roll cut a slot about 1″ long (make this long enough so the lights won’t slip off). Stick one end of the lights in the slot then wind around the roll until you come to the end. Place that end in the opposite slot. These tubes are easy to store and will keep your twinklers knot-free.
